
DEBORA
KUNKA, LICSW
Debora
earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University
of Washington, with an emphasis on child and family
services. She also holds a Master of Public Administration
degree from Seattle University, and received her
undergraduate degree from Washington State University.
With
over 15 years of experience working with children
and families, including eight years of domestic
and international adoption home studies, Debora
has successfully worked with hundreds of children
and families to help them adopt. She is a Licensed
Independent Clinical Social Worker who’s dedicated
to helping families achieve their dream of adopting
a child.
MERISSA
CLYDE, MSW
Merissa
received a Master of Social Work degree from Boston
University, and her undergraduate degree in psychology
from the University of Washington.
She’s
worked with orphaned and abandoned children in Mexico
and Central America for over 13 years, and is fluent
in Spanish. Moreover, Merissa has worked with children
and families for over eight years conducting domestic
and international pre-placement and post-placement
adoption home studies. She’s devoted her career
to helping families prepare for the changes that
adopting a child will bring to their lives.
SHEILA
STORRER, LICSW
Sheila
received a Master of Social Work degree from California
State University, Long Beach, and her undergraduate
degree from Wheaton College. For over 15 years she’s
worked as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social
Worker. While living in California she worked with
foster and adoptive children, and their families.
Since moving to Washington she’s pursued her
passion for creating diverse families though the
adoption process.
Sheila
is certified to use the Structured Analysis Family
Evaluation model (SAFE), which is a research-based
uniform home study methodology that’s now
used in 22 States, and which results in better placements
for children.
